Many men face complex challenges when dealing with emotional abuse and domestic violence, including:
Founded with a profound sense of purpose, The Covering emerged as a beacon of hope in 2021. Our conception was driven by the pressing need to address the overlooked struggles men face as the leaders of their families.
Recognizing their crucial role within the family, we committed to not only advocating for these men but also equipping them with the tools necessary to rebuild and lead their families with strength and dignity One way we do this is through our National Fatherhood Program that supports men on their Fatherhood journey.
We serve men affected by emotional abuse and domestic violence, guiding them toward a path of healing and empowerment.
Join The Morning Huddle for a powerful time of prayer and connection with Pastor Cedric Halbert, Monday – Friday at 5:30 AM CST— access Code: 7394653.
The Covering’s Urban Gardening Initiative teaches men how to grow their own food, fish, and be self-sustaining.
This program promotes self-reliance and sustainability and fosters a sense of accomplishment and community involvement.
Participants learn essential skills in urban agriculture, aquaponics, and sustainable living practices.
“Before joining The Covering, I struggled to find stability for myself. The vocational training and counseling I received not only helped me secure a good job but also gave me the confidence to be the leader my family needed. The Urban Gardening Initiative taught us to grow our own food, making us self-sufficient and closer as a family. The Covering truly transformed our lives.”
